Truly a fantastic place to eat! Been twice for breakfast now and once for lunch. Everything we've had has been incredibly tasty, service has been fantastic, reasonably priced, local produce and great decor too. I'd personally recommend "The Grain Breakfast" (eggs how you want) and the Sausage and Mash! I count myself lucky to live within a couple of miles but would encourage anyone to make the trip, it's well worth it! Fantastic food, very friendly staff and you can visit The English Distilery shop and/or take a tour in the same visit. 10/10

We have been going to the Grain Kitchen for almost a year now but this was our first Sunday lunch there. It is without doubt the best roast dinner we have had out. The portions are generous and everything on the plate is delicious. We added the cauliflower cheese and I would recommend that too - it was delicious. We often go to the Grain Kitchen for breakfast and can recommend that. We have sampled most of the options and every one of the has been wonderful - a favourite of mine is the scrambled eggs and mushrooms on sourdough as well as the breakfast sandwich. To complement the exceptional food, the staff are fantastic. Highly recommended.

What a place. Just a few steps from the English Whiskey Distillery. Ample parking, set in quiet grounds. Great decor. From stepping in the door to leaving, staff were friendly, very helpful and service was excellent. Our breakfast was so good. Coffee was the best I've had in a very long time. Definitely worth a visit. We had a tour and Cocktail Masterclass booked with the English Distillery so it was a must for cake and more coffee afterward. Would love to go back in the warmer weather, walk the river with our dog and stop for food & drink.

Quite hidden gem if you dont know about it. situated right next to the English Whiskey Distillery this restraunt serves excellent food and has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Some menu favourites which are quite rare to find around the area are the beef or fish tacos. they are very good, and the burger they have recently added to their menu is one of the best burgers i've had in the area - 2nd only to Gonzos for me in terms of taste, texture and pricing. Definitely recommend this place for any meal and if you've never seen the Distillery before its a nice place to do a tour of while you're here :)

Took a diversion to stop here as the menu looked so much better than anywhere nearby, fresh, with healthy options and welcomed dogs in the outside seating area. It did not disappoint. I only wish I didn’t live so far away as I would frequent this Kitchen and try everything on the menu. We had Mushroom bruschetta, Beef tacos and Croque Madame. Followed by a Chocolate and Cherry desert.

First time having breakfast, and it did not disappoint, my husband had the full breakfast with extra black pudding, he devoured it. I had the Banana bread with chocolate sauce, caramelised banana and pecans it was heavenly My sister opted for scrambled eggs with a sausage and black pudding, the eggs were cooked just how she like’s them. Overall it was a lovely breakfast, well cooked and presented, hot and tasty. The staff were attentive and pleasant, we will be returning for Sunday lunch

Love a walk down here. There’s a path all the way from the village, so leave your motor at home and walk off that breakfast. Have tried most things on the menus and not had a bad meal yet.
